This system operates as a completely self-contained, computer-based controller that functions independently of internet connectivity or third-party cloud infrastructure. It runs with full autonomy within your facility, keeping all cultivation data and operational parameters securely on-site rather than stored on remote servers where privacy could be compromised.
Configure the controller as a wireless hotspot using either LAN or WiFi connections. The level of network security you implement depends on your specific requirements. Connect directly through your home network and access your system from any location worldwide. For enhanced protection, consider implementing VPN protocols or establishing multiple network layers for comprehensive security.

Create these connections in your own workflow by drawing the relationships visually. Override automatic functions manually at any time from any device including smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Battery Backup UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
Unexpected power interruptions can lead to data corruption or hardware damage. The integrated battery backup UPS system delivers sufficient reserve power to keep the Hydro-X Pro Controller operational for 30 seconds during brief outages, while providing adequate runtime during extended blackouts to execute a safe system shutdown. When electricity is restored, the controller automatically resumes operation and continues all processes exactly where they were interrupted.
About the Software
User and Access Rights Management
The Hydro-X Pro software provides comprehensive user permission settings with role-based access profiles. By default, only the Administrator can access secured settings and implement system modifications. Navigate to Tools > User, then Tools > Rights to configure access controls and manage user accounts with restricted capabilities.
Alarms and Notifications
The Hydro-X Pro Controller delivers immediate notifications regarding system behavior, alerting you to potential issues before they impact critical equipment or cause damage. Through Settings > Events, configure alerts for sensor readings, database activity, update status, and power conditions. Detailed logs appear in the top right corner of the interface, and when alarms trigger, the LED alarm indicator on the controller illuminates. Acknowledge alerts by pressing the alarm button.
Automatic Software Upgrades
When connected to the internet, receive notifications when the Hydro-X Pro Controller software is current. To manually check for available updates, navigate to Help > Update to verify your software version and discover if a new update is ready for installation. The interface supports multiple language options including Italian, Spanish, German, English, and numerous other regional choices.
