Copperlab Hammered Copper Louvered Gable End Vent - HCWLV1212F
Louvered Gable End Vents are made of 16 ounce hammered pattern copper. There are many standard sizes and mounting styles available. Louvers are fixed and the vent is screened to keep insects and animals out. Both copper and stainless steel look great and last much longer than standard aluminum and plastic vents.
Which Mounting Style? Copperlab's vents come in two different mounting styles. The flush mount should be purchased if the siding of your building is already installed, or if your building is brick or stone. The stucco mount model has a flashing and is meant to be installed prior to the siding installation. This mount can best be used with stucco, or wood / vinyl siding (stucco mount vents must be installed underneath siding and water-proofing).

Maintenance Tips
-
Regular Cleaning: Wipe down with a soft cloth and mild soap to remove dirt, dust, and grime.
-
Check for Obstructions: Periodically inspect for leaves, debris, or bird nests that may block airflow.
-
Monitor Patina: Let the copper naturally patina or apply a clear protective sealant if you prefer the original shine.
-
Secure Fasteners: Ensure all screws and mounting hardware are tightly secured to prevent loosening.
-
Inspect for Corrosion: While copper resists corrosion, check for any signs of wear or deterioration.
-
Clear Snow/Ice: In colder months, ensure that snow or ice buildup is cleared from the vent to maintain airflow.
-
Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Never use abrasive cleaners or chemicals, as they can damage the copper finish.
