Linhof 100mm f6.3 Luminar, Board 4576765 - 1357159
This Zeiss 100mm f6.3 Luminar Macro Lens, #4576765, is in great condition with minor handling wear. I rate it cosmetically a (9)+. The aperture ring is very stiff, but the aperture functions properly and the glass is clean and clear with no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. It has coverage up to 4x5" and optimized magnification between 0.8x & 8x. The included Linhof Synchro-Compur shutter is in similar condition, also rated a (9+). The shutter speed ring is smooth and the shutter is accurate at all speeds. This lens includes a threaded front lens ring, a flared retaining ring, and a Linhof Technika conical lens board. Please refer to the photos for details.

Protect shutter mechanism: Ensure the lens is free of dust and operate the shutter occasionally to maintain smooth timing.
-
Handle lens board carefully: Avoid bending or twisting to preserve precise alignment on large-format cameras.
-
Store in dry conditions: Prevent fungus and corrosion by keeping the lens in a padded, dry case.
-
Check screws and fittings: Tighten periodically to ensure stable mounting and alignment.

Avoid extreme temperatures: Rapid heat or cold changes can affect shutter performance and optical precision.
-
Regular inspection: Look for dust, haze, or fungus, especially in long-term storage.
