Sizing & Structural Fit

Standard ceiling cassette units measure approximately 24 × 24 inches — purpose-built for drop ceiling grids. For installations in finished ceilings, two structural factors must be evaluated:

• Ceiling Clearance: A minimum of 10–12 inches of vertical space above the ceiling is required to house the unit body and its mounting suspension.
• Joist Constraints: Spaces with standard 16-inch on-center joists may require custom framing. Alternatively, a specialized one-way cassette can be fitted neatly within these joist spacings, though four-way airflow is reduced.

Drainage & Positioning

• Condensate Management: A built-in lift pump manages cooling cycle condensate. It requires connection to 1"–1.25" rigid PVC piping routed to your home's exterior.
• Optimal Placement: Center the unit in the room to take full advantage of four-way airflow. If centering is impossible, close any vents that would direct air directly toward a wall.
